USEFUL WEBSITES

These website links are ones that I use frequently, some even daily, in my prayers and study of Christian Science.

Christian Science Mother Church

This website has been incredibly helpful during our social distancing time to tune into church services at the Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts.

CS Online

This is a subscription-based website that features current and archived issues of the Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, Herald and newly digitized versions of Mary Baker Eddy’s biographies. There is also limited access to Concord. Some material may be read free of charge.

Mary Baker Eddy Library

This is also a subscription-based website that has information regarding the homes of Mary Baker Eddy and the history of the Christian Science movement and its workers. Some material may be read free of charge.

Christian Science Monitor

Featured articles can be accessed for free or you may subscribe to have full access to current published news by this Pulitzer Prize winning bureau.

CS Directory

There are several levels of access to this website, depending on the subscription level. Some information is free of charge. My main use is for the study of the Weekly Bible Lesson Sermon Bible Notes and Recommended Articles from the Periodicals relating to the Weekly Bible Lesson topic. I also advertise as a Christian Science Practitioner in its pages.

Bible & Spiritual Life

This organization was the catalyst to my desire to focus on deeper Biblical Studies and to boldly walk the path as a practicing Christian. It hosted the annual Asilomar Bible Study Seminar at the Asilomar Conference grounds in Monterey, California and recently has had programs at the Cedar’s Camps in the Ozark Hill Country in Illinois.

BibleWise

This is a wonderful resource for Biblical Study and has inspired tools for teaching Sunday School. It also focuses on Family and Relationships. Its founder is a very dear friend and Christian Science Classmate.

Christian Science USA

This is a resource for finding Christian Science churches and organizations in the United States.

Wide Horizon

This is a Christian Science Nursing Care facility serving the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain region, located in Wheat Ridge Colorado. It offers professional care from trained Christian Science Nurses as well as supervised residential living or short-term rest and study for Christian Scientists.

CS Colorado

This link takes you to a list of churches and reading rooms in Colorado.

Colorado Springs Church

This is my current branch church’s website. It gives information regarding church service hours and a call-in phone number for listening to the services. It also has up-to-date information regarding the Reading Room, Sunday School and Lectures sponsored by this church.

Laguna Niguel CA Church

This website is sponsored by my previous branch church where I enjoyed many years in service as Sunday School Teacher, Board member & Chairman and Reading Room Librarian as well as serving as a Christian Science Chaplin in the Woman’s Jail in Santa Ana, California. They have a link to their services & fellowship via Zoom.

Bible Roads

This website is the platform for a deep dive Bible Study, hosted by Bible Scholar, Madelon Maupin. I met Madelon when she was giving monthly Bible Seminars in Los Angeles and then in New Port Beach. She was also a presenter at the Asilomar Bible Study Seminar annual Summer event in Monterey, California. She guides tours to the Holy Land and now offers a monthly, virtual Bible Study..

Biblos Foundation

This webpage is mainly a membership-based resource that I use for listening to webinars given by Kristy Christian a Bible Scholar and Holy Land Tour guide. I first met Kristy at one of her day long seminars given in Huntington Beach, California. This last Fall I attended her weekend workshop at the Adventure Unlimited Camps in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Bible Insights for CS Families

This website is founded by Kathy Merrill, Kristy Christian’s sister and co-tour guide to the Holy Lands. Kathy gives 5 conference calls weekly (sponsored by Peace Haven nursing facility, listen only), which I attend first thing each Tuesday morning. These calls are an hour of sharing Biblical research on the Bible citations in the current Weekly Bible Lesson. On her weekly blog she gives additional research results and links to related articles on JSH-Online.

Cedars Camps

This link offers a weekly metaphysical article relating to the current Bible Lesson. The various authors highlight each section of the lesson with their personal inspiration and experiences. They also incorporated Biblical research and history. I use this as part of my deep dive into the Lesson Sermon. Mary Baker Eddy says it is the foundation of the prosperity of our church. She also said that if each member came to the church services, having thoroughly studied and lived the Bible Lesson, everyone who entered would be healed of whatever they were challenged.
